Science Week Finale: Where Little Scientists Shone

Our Early Years Foundation Stage learners at Kabojja International School brought Science Week to a joyful and memorable close with a Finale that celebrated everything they have asked, explored and discovered.

Our Early Years Foundation Stage learners at Kabojja International School brought Science Week to a joyful and memorable close with a Finale that celebrated everything they have asked, explored and discovered.

From the first "why?" to the final reveal, our young scientists showed us what genuine scientific thinking looks like at this age. They observed closely, made predictions, tested their ideas and spoke with pride about what they found. Some experiments went exactly as expected. Others surprised us and those moments were often the most valuable, because learning from the unexpected is where scientific confidence begins.

What stood out most was not only what the children discovered, but how they discovered it:

  • Curiosity drove them to ask questions without hesitation.

  • Critical thinking guided them as they predicted, tested and reflected.

  • Communication gave them the words to explain their discoveries to peers, teachers and visiting parents.

  • Collaboration taught them that the best ideas often grow when we think together.

These are the foundations of lifelong learning and it was a privilege to watch them take shape in real time.

Our heartfelt thanks go to our dedicated Early Years team, whose imagination, patience and care turned a classroom into a laboratory of wonder. We are equally grateful to our parents and guardians.

Science Week may have ended, but the curiosity it sparked will continue to guide our learners long after. At Kabojja International School, we remain committed to nurturing young minds that ask, explore and never stop wondering.
