Science in Action at KIS
Our Year 10 Biology students rolled up their sleeves for a hands on practical exploring the effect of surface area on the rate of diffusion and the results spoke for themselves, both in the data and in the teamwork on display.
Our Year 10 Biology students rolled up their sleeves for a hands on practical exploring the effect of surface area on the rate of diffusion and the results spoke for themselves, both in the data and in the teamwork on display.
From setting up experiments to recording observations and analysing results, our learners worked collaboratively, communicating ideas, sharing responsibilities and supporting one another every step of the way. It was wonderful to see young scientists grasping a core biological concept and developing essential skills.
True learning goes beyond the textbook. Practical, inquiry based lessons like this one nurture curiosity while building the collaborative spirit our students will carry into every future endeavour.
