Learning by Doing in Cambridge Year 2
Most lasting lessons are the ones learners can see, touch and practise for themselves. Today's highlights from our Cambridge Year 2 class showed exactly that.
Most lasting lessons are the ones learners can see, touch and practise for themselves. Today's highlights from our Cambridge Year 2 class showed exactly that.
Life Skills: Healthy Habits Start Early
Our learners practised proper tooth brushing techniques, building a daily habit that supports lifelong health. Lessons like these remind us that education goes beyond academics. It nurtures confident, responsible children who care for themselves and their wellbeing.
Science: Investigating the Soil
In science, our young investigators buried a variety of materials in soil to discover which ones rot or decompose fastest. Through hands-on experimentation, they made predictions, observed changes and drew their own conclusions, developing curiosity, critical thinking and early scientific enquiry skills.
They also gained a practical understanding of why some materials return to the earth while others linger, an important first step toward environmental stewardship.
At KIS, we are proud to provide a learning environment where practical experience brings the Cambridge curriculum to life and where every child is encouraged to ask questions, explore and grow.
