KIS Year 3 Community Service Activity

Education at KIS extends beyond the classroom and into the communities we serve.

Education at KIS extends beyond the classroom and into the communities we serve.

As part of their Global Perspectives learning journey, our Year 3 learners recently participated in a community service activity in Ggaba, where they had the opportunity to engage with the local community, develop empathy and gain a deeper understanding of the importance of active citizenship.

Through meaningful interactions and service oriented experiences, our learners explored real-world issues while developing essential values such as compassion, responsibility and respect for others. These experiences help nurture globally minded young people who understand that even small acts of kindness can create a lasting impact.

Community service is an integral part of our educational philosophy, empowering learners to connect their learning to authentic experiences and inspiring them to become positive contributors to society.

We are proud of our Year 3 learners for embracing this opportunity with enthusiasm, curiosity and a genuine commitment to making a difference.
