KIS Celebrates June 2026 IGCSE Results

A set of results that reflect a strong performance and a deliberate school wide elevation of academic standards.

• A*-C pass rates of over 67%

• 51 A*

• A*-A grades grew by nearly 7% from 2025

This tells a clear story: our foundational academic support systems are successfully identifying and lifting at-risk students well before examinations, while our top performers are being stretched further than ever before.

Departmental Breakthroughs

Several departments delivered standout transformations this year:

• Economics posted the most dramatic improvement in the school's history. From zero A* grades in 2025 to 10 A* and 8 A grades in 2026, alongside a pass rate jump from 51% to 88%.

• Mathematics nearly doubled its A*-A output (12 to 20 grades) and lifted its A*- C pass rate from 38.8% to 60.1%

• Physical Education shattered its previous ceiling. Moving from a maximum grade of C in 2025 to securing A*-A and B grades across the board in 2026. With 100% pass rate.

A STEM Powerhouse

Our STEM faculty absorbed the highest student volume in the school while simultaneously engineering the sharpest reduction in underperformance. Together, Economics, Mathematics, Physics, ICT and Biology accounted for 62% of all A* grades awarded. Underscoring the strength and consistency of these departments.

Consistency and Broadened Horizons

First Language English continued to anchor our results with zero failures and 14 A*-A grades, while Global Perspectives expanded significantly in both volume and quality, contributing 3 A* grades to a growing cohort.

These outcomes are the product of focused teaching, early intervention and a shared commitment across our staff and students to academic excellence. This performance sets a rigorously proven baseline for us to build upon for the 2026/2027 Academic year.
