KIS Cancer Run 2026

This morning, Sunday 30th August 2026, the Kabojja International School community came together in a powerful show of solidarity for the 2026 Cancer Run. What began as an invitation to our learners to support cancer awareness and healthy living culminated in a vibrant, purposeful morning.

From the warm up at 7:30 am to the flag off at 7:45 am, our students and staff, joined by parents and guardians, took to the supervised route mapped through the Buziga community as part of our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative. Running not just for themselves, but for every family touched by cancer.

The morning was filled with energy and purpose: roll call and briefing, warm up aerobics led by our Sports Team, the send off of our runners and walking buddies and a joyous close with prize giving, motivational speeches and a well earned snack and breakfast to celebrate everyone's effort.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to:

  • Buziga Police for their vigilance and dedication in ensuring the safety of our participants along the entire designated route.

  • CCare for providing first aid and health related support throughout the event.

  • Our staff and parents whose presence, encouragement and hands on support made the morning run smoothly and safely from start to finish.

  • Every learner who laced up, showed up and ran or walked for hope and for life.

Events like this remind us that education extends beyond the classroom. It is in initiatives such as the Cancer Run that our learners truly embody the values of compassion, community and social responsibility that Kabojja International School strives to instill in every child.
