KIS at the Sharing Olympism Forum

We are delighted to announce that our learner, Melvin, will be representing Uganda at the 2nd Sharing Olympism Forum, taking place from 13th - 16th August 2026 in Maseru, Lesotho.

Hosted by the National Olympic Committee of Lesotho (LNOC) under the theme "Promoting Olympism through Ubuntu," this continental initiative brings together youth and sports leaders from five National Olympic Committees; Uganda, Kenya, South Africa, Eswatini and host nation Lesotho to exchange ideas on youth engagement, inclusivity and the role of sport in promoting peace and development.

Melvin will be competing in the Debate category, joining a talented team from the Uganda Olympic Committee that will also engage in essay writing, poetry, public speaking and quiz competitions centered on Olympism and contemporary issues in African sport.

We are immensely proud of Melvin for earning this opportunity to represent both his school and his country on this continental stage. This achievement reflects the values of excellence, confidence and global citizenship that we strive to instill in every Kabojja learner.
