KIS Adventure, Discovery and Growth at Busiika Adventure Park

During the half term break, learners of Kabojja International School stepped beyond the classroom walls for a memorable day of outdoor exploration at Busiika Adventure Park.

Learning at KIS does not end at the school gate. Experiences like this nurture resilience, teamwork, confidence and a genuine love for the outdoors, qualities that shape well rounded young people.

The day at a glance:

• 8:30 AM: Departure from school

• 9:30 AM: Arrival at Busiika Adventure Park

• 9:40 AM: Safety briefing, so every adventure began with care

• 10:00 AM - 12:30 PM: Morning outdoor activity sessions

• 12:30 PM - 1:20 PM: Lunch break

• 1:30 PM - 2:45 PM: Afternoon activity sessions

• 3:00 PM: Departure from the park

• 4:00 PM: Safe return to school and parent pick-up

21 confirmed campers took part: 13 from our Junior School and 8 from our High School. They were accompanied by two dedicated teachers and our school driver, who ensured the day was safe, supervised and enjoyable from start to finish.

From the safety briefing to the final activity, our learners showed enthusiasm, courage and a wonderful spirit of cooperation. We are proud of every camper and grateful to the staff and parents who made the day possible.

Moments like these remind us that the best lessons are often learned outdoors.
