This week, our IB Middle Years Programme (MYP) had the privilege of welcoming and orienting Year 6 learners from the Cambridge pathway, providing them with valuable insights into the nature of the IB curriculum, its interdisciplinary subjects and the strong connections between classroom learning and real-world application.
A highlight of the orientation was the opportunity for our MYP Design students to showcase their innovative projects. These student-led creations demonstrated how design thinking can be used to solve real-world challenges, while also making learning engaging and enjoyable through creative games, products, and solutions.
We also hosted the Primary Years Programme (PYP) 5 Exhibition schedule, an important milestone in every learner’s IB journey. The PYP Exhibition empowers students to apply the knowledge, skills and attributes they have developed throughout the programme as they investigate authentic global and local issues through inquiry, research, collaboration and meaningful action.
These experiences reflect the essence of an IB education. Developing knowledgeable, caring and principled young people who are equipped to think critically, act responsibly and contribute positively to their communities and the wider world.
