KIS Cambridge Early Years Professional Development Training Opens

Kabojja International School was delighted to open the doors of its Wellness Centre Lounge this morning to host Day One of the Cambridge Early Years Professional Development Training. A milestone gathering dedicated to strengthening the quality of early years education across the region.

The morning began with registration and warm East African hospitality over tea, before proceeding into a programme rich with reflection, purpose and inspiration. Following the National, East African and School Anthems, Ms. Esther Mpamudhuka led the opening prayer, setting a tone of gratitude and intention for the day ahead.

Warm welcome remarks were then extended by the Moderator and Cambridge Center Coordinator, Divine Vhovha, before Ms. Goretti Mbabazi, Head of Early Years (Cambridge) addressed the gathering with insights into the vision driving this training.  

Mr. Sam Turya, CEO & Principal, followed with a heartfelt welcome address, after which Mr. Lwasa Ahmed, Chairman of the Board of Directors, delivered remarks and officially declared the training open.

The morning's proceedings reached their high point with a compelling Keynote Address by Ms. Zandile Zulu, Regional Training Manager for Sub-Saharan Africa, International Education, whose reflections offered delegates a broadened perspective on the future of early years pedagogy across the continent.
