On Thursday, 21st May, Kabojja International School had the privilege of hosting two distinguished Czech sportsmen, Mr. David Pulkrabek and Mr. Janek Novak, for an engaging and inspiring judo demonstration session with our Junior School learners.

Their visit formed part of the Uganda Judo Mission Tour. An international initiative aimed at strengthening collaboration between the Ugandan and Czech Judo Associations, while also supporting the training and development of Uganda’s Police forces through sport and discipline.

Our learners were excited to witness live demonstrations of professional judo techniques, discipline drills, and self-defense skills, before enthusiastically participating in guided practical sessions themselves. The interaction provided a valuable opportunity for students to build confidence, teamwork, resilience, and sportsmanship through experiential learning.

We were especially honored to host Mr. David Pulkrabek, an accomplished judo master who has proudly represented the Czech Republic in numerous international competitions and is notably a Youth Olympic Games gold medalist from Singapore.

During their visit, the guests also toured the Kabojja International School sports complex and commended the school’s exceptional sporting facilities and continued commitment to nurturing holistic learner development through athletics and co-curricular engagement.

We continue to create a global learning experience that empowers our learners, broaden cultural exchange and inspire excellence both inside and outside the classroom.
