Audiology Screening and Hearing Health Education Programme at KIS

Today, we were very pleased to host a complimentary Audiology Screening and Hearing Health Education Programme, delivered in partnership with C-Care IHK through its Audiology Centre, in commemoration of World Hearing Day 2026.

Aligned with this year’s theme, “From communities to classrooms: hearing care for all children,” the initiative underscored the critical importance of early detection and timely intervention in supporting learners’ academic success and overall wellbeing.

Our students and staff benefited from a range of professional, non-invasive services, including:

• Otoscopic ear examinations

• Pure-tone audiometry (PTA) hearing screenings

• Age-appropriate hearing health education sessions 

The programme provided valuable insights into hearing health while reinforcing the role schools play in creating supportive and inclusive learning environments. Where necessary, follow-up guidance will be shared with parents to ensure every learner receives the care they need.
