A Year of Academic Progress, Excellence and Momentum at KIS

At Kabojja International School, we believe that academic excellence is not simply reflected in results, but in the progress, resilience and determination demonstrated by our learners and educators along the journey.

Our analysis of the June 2026 Cambridge International AS & A Level results, compared with June 2025, reveals encouraging progress across key areas of academic performance.

At A Level, our learners demonstrated a remarkable rise in top-end attainment. The proportion of A–A* grades doubled from 8.2% to 16.4%**, while the number of A* grades increased from 2 to 6. This represents a significant strengthening of elite academic achievement and reflects the School’s continued focus on supporting learners to reach their highest potential.

Our AS Level performance also recorded an impressive turnaround. The overall pass rate rose from 77.5% to 86.5%, while the number of learners attaining the top ‘a’ grade increased from 21 to 35.

Several subject areas stood out for their exceptional performance and improvement. At A Level, Business, History and Sociology achieved 100% pass rates, while Mathematics and the Sciences continued to drive top-tier attainment. At AS Level, notable improvements in Mathematics, Biology, Business and Computer Science demonstrated the impact of focused interventions, effective teaching and a commitment to continuous improvement. 31% of students scored an A Grade in AS Mathematics.

While we celebrate these achievements, we also recognise the importance of continuous reflection. Our results analysis provides valuable insights that will guide targeted support, cross-departmental learning and strategic academic planning as we continue to strengthen outcomes across all subject areas.
