Kabojja International School has been attaching learners of Years 11 – 13 to different organizations for internship training for the last three years. On this note, I wish to extend sincere appreciation to the following organizations that have accepted and trained our learners;

Airtel Uganda ltd, UAP Uganda, Internal Affairs National ID Department, Delta Petroleum Uganda ltd, Kakira Sugar ltd, East African distributors ltd, May Medical Center, Hotel Africana, Radio Simba, Radio Hot 100, Silk Events, Cassia Lodge, Axial International College, Kabojja International School, Uniserve Uganda, Waigo & Co. Advocates, Omunyokol & Co, Foot Steps Furniture ltd.

This year’s internship training commenced on Monday 22nd June 2015 and finished on Friday 17thJuly 2015. A total of 30 learners were attached to Organizations in Uganda and 25 of them reported and successively completed their exercises. Other learners were deployed to organisations outside of Uganda. 5 learners were attached to organizations in South Sudan, 10 learners had their internship training from Tanzania, 4 students in Kenya, and 3 students were attached to organizations in Rwanda. Six learners were attached to organizations in Burundi, but unfortunately due to political unrest that was experienced there at the time, the Careers office advised those learners to forfeit the work experience.

Kabojja trains learners to fit in society and enjoy their careers after school. With this background, learners are guided through the right career path to take which matches their interests and abilities. The careers department spear heads this process and it is charged with responsibility of deploying learners to the different organizations where they are given opportunity to try out their skills and experience as well as acquiring new skills. Learners have benefited tremendously from such training. Matter of fact, some of them opt to change their careers choices after undergoing the work experience. Regards,
